Use Settings → Send Feedback in the app, or email us directly. Tell us what happened and what you expected. In-app drafts include your app version, iOS version, and device model. You can review the email and optionally attach a screenshot before sending—please leave out private information.
For privacy questions or a request to access or delete shared data, use the subject “License to Spy Privacy.” Never send passwords or Apple account credentials.
Common questions
Can I play without an internet connection?
Yes. Personal hunts, plate artwork, badges, and rarity scoring work offline. Set your scoring state manually if location is unavailable. Group updates and Game Center need a connection; saved group score changes retry when the service is available.
Do I need to share my location?
No. You can choose your current state manually. Automatic scoring uses your approximate location while the app is in use to identify a state on your iPhone. Coordinates are not saved or sent to our group service.
I marked the wrong plate. How do I fix it?
Use Undo immediately after spotting a plate, or tap an already spotted plate and choose to remove it. Starting a new hunt saves a nonempty current hunt in Hunts.
Why aren’t groups or leaderboards updating?
Check your connection and your Apple sign-ins. Groups use iCloud and leaderboards use Game Center. If something still looks wrong, email us with the app version and a description. Keep group invite codes out of public posts.
Will my personal hunts appear on another iPhone?
Personal hunt history is stored on your iPhone and does not automatically sync between devices through the app. Shared group scores and Game Center records are separate. Your device backup settings may affect whether local app data is included in an Apple backup.
How can I clear my data or report a problem in a group?
Settings → Clear All Seen Plates removes personal hunts, sightings, points, and badges from this iPhone, and queues removal of your group scores. Keep the app installed and reconnect with the same account so removal can sync. Group memberships and preferences stay. Use the group’s Report action to report inappropriate content, and contact us for further help with shared data.
